Bates Manufacturing provides subcontract machining support for engineering and manufacturing businesses across England. We focus on rough machining and stock removal for large blanks and billets, helping customers manage overflow work and changing workloads.

SUBCONTRACT MACHINING SUPPORT

We work with engineering companies, manufacturers and machine shops that need additional machining capacity. Each enquiry is reviewed against the drawing, material, quantity, location and required timescale before we confirm whether the work is a suitable fit.

Where agreed, we can travel to customer sites and work using the customer’s machinery and facilities. Site access, scope and arrangements are agreed before work begins.

Our approach is straightforward: understand the requirement, agree the scope and quote, communicate clearly, and complete the agreed work. We discuss limitations early and only commit to work we can undertake.
